The Challenge: GAB Studio Arq. needed a platform that functioned as a high-end portfolio. The technical challenge was to present projects with a heavy visual load (blueprints, high-resolution renders, and construction photography) without sacrificing loading speed or navigation fluidity, all while maintaining a minimalist and highly professional style.
Our Building Process:
- Minimalist Design and Structural Grid (UX/UI): Inspired by the studio’s own architecture, we designed an interface based on white space and clean typography that allows the projects to take center stage. We implemented a “viewing experience” navigation, where users can intuitively explore the portfolio, emulating the feeling of walking through a physical gallery.
- High-Performance Visual Optimization (WPO): For an architecture studio, image quality is non-negotiable. We implemented a Lazy Load system and image compression in next-generation formats. This allows large-format photographs to look flawless without penalizing site performance, achieving optimal loading times even on mobile connections.
- Dynamic Project Management (Custom Post Types): We developed a custom structure in WordPress so the GAB Studio team could manage their projects independently. Each work is categorized by typology (residential, commercial, institutional), allowing potential clients to filter results based on their specific investment interest.
- Technical Authority Approach: We didn’t stop at the visuals; we structured technical information for each project (location, area, year, and concept). This not only improves SEO for architectural terms but also positions the studio as a serious and organized technical entity for investors and construction firms.
